Musicians of the Staunton Music Festival will premiere Zachary’s brand-new re-orchestration of DeFalla’s Seven Spanish Folksongs during a concert entitled “Beethoven Meets the Mambo.” The concert program will include:

Sierra | Mambo Metálico, for brass, percussion and piano
Debussy | Danse Sacrée et Danse Profane, for harp and strings
Sierra | Mano a Mano, for two percussionists
DeFalla/Wadsworth | Seven Spanish Folksongs, arr. for voices and chamber ensemble
Beethoven | Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Op. 36. for orchestra
